Montana Equality Now

Our Mission, through political action, advocacy, and education, is to create a more positive environment for Montana’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, and Questioning community to thrive in our beloved state. Our strategy is to support and create direct political action to change the legal, social, and political status of L.G.B.T.Q.Q.I. persons in the state of Montana, while avoiding overlap with existing organizations. When applicable to our mission for the betterment of Montanans, our organization will support the actions of other advocacy and education organizations both locally and nationally. We commit to use any and all resources and opportunities to secure equality for all persons regardless of race, creed, color, nationality, gender identity, biological sex, sexual orientation, physical and/or mental ability, religion, education, and political affiliation before the State of Montana and the United States of America.

Our vision is a Montana in which L.G.B.T.Q.Q.I. persons enjoy the same legal rights and protections, as well as social and political equality as every other group and/or individual in the state of Montana.
